This building was designed in tandem with the Livermore Valley Center master plan. It will hold 20,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and office space. It has been designed to be compatible with the existing fabric of downtown Livermore.
The clock tower creates a focal point for entry into downtown Livermore. The building has been broken into three parts, to better relate to the scale of nearby buildings.
The brick central circulation volume is a reference to the masonry flourmill that stood on the site a century ago. Cedar trellis and screens create an intimate setting for the outdoor restaurant seating patio. Copper awnings provide shade from the harsh central valley sun.
